Idris possesses so much of his dear late mum, Emmas character & amazing ring presence. He is capable of lifting anyone out of the depths of depression, he is the most comical canine I have ever owned!
He has sired two litters born Jan & Feb 2005.
End of October 2005 and just returned from the USA having taken Idris there to live with Valerie Link in Medford, Oregon for at least 12 months. I would entrust very few people with him but I know he will have a great life with Valerie . When I left him he seemed happy and settled which is far more than I can say for myself . I was in floods of tears when I left him there.
In the top picture you see Idris after being awarded BOB at his first show in Yuba City California under judge Mr Joe Walton who also judged the Hound Group in which Idris was short listed to the last 6 . We were delighted with this as they were practically all professional handlers and of course neither Idris nor myself were known (yes it happens in America too!!!!)
I would sincerely like to thank all the PBGV people I was fortunate enough to meet over there , for their support and hospitality. It was a completely new experience for me and little Idris and I am grateful for this.
Valerie Link, Idris's co-owner while he is in the USA travelled five hours on the weekend of 4th November 2005 to Portland Oregon, where she & Idris attended another two shows. They shared a room! Within five minutes of their arrival Idris had unravelled the toilet roll all around the room!Two more best of breed at the two shows, one under Judge Carol Esterkin, and the next under Joy Bruster where she also short listed him in the group. Good Ol' Idris continues to fly the flag for Wales!!
He will soon be off to Chicago for a few months.
